PhotoWorks Realistic Image Tricks

Rendering inside a room.... (pre 2006 or before the camera was added)

Here's the layout.. http://zxys.com/cycle-in-room-w-lights.png

And, here's another render using decaled walls.. http://zxys.com/zycle001.jpg
(Background wall decal images by Johan Zijffers..)  http://www.3dtotal.com/3dcommunity/gallery/bigpicpages/gallerysce17g.htm

In another example, with no windows, or a closed room, I'm only using 2 point lights, a B/W ceiling decal for a overhead ceiling lights and a sunset image decalled on the foreground walls.
The sunset decal is subtle but you can see it on some of the surfaces, it will depend on the surfaces and camera angles.

This is probably a faster trick way to get foreground reflections but I feel spotlights help with more realism.
